Privacy, without the fine-print fog.
Looper is designed so the most sensitive thing you bring—the audio itself—does not need to leave your device.
Your audio stays local
Audio files are decoded, analysed, previewed, and exported inside your browser. Looper does not upload your audio to its servers, create a cloud copy, or use it to train a model. If you choose Identify genre, your browser downloads a genre model from Hugging Face and runs it locally; the audio itself is not sent with that request.
Local project data
Saved loop regions and genre suggestions or corrections are stored in your browser on the device where you created them. They contain labels and timestamps, not the audio itself. If browser storage is blocked, Looper tells you when changes will last only for the current session. You can create a Loopmark backup file whenever you want a portable copy.
Site operations
The hosting provider may process ordinary request information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as an IP address, browser details, request time, and security logs. Looper does not currently use advertising trackers or sell personal information.
Your choices
You can remove local Looper data by deleting Loopmarks, clearing a genre, or clearing this site’s storage in your browser. Closing the page clears the decoded audio held in memory.
